LOVE ACTIVISTS
We support the LOVE ACTIVISTS, an urban 2nd-4th grade school program, which educates youth on climate solutions and social emotional learning promoting love, awareness and interpersonal connection through music and art.
The goal of the LOVE ACTIVISTS project is to change belief systems and social structures - encouraging health, sustainability, respect, social justice, and love through fun and engaging instructional videos created by kids, for kids, as well as short lessons and music-based learning tools for the classroom. We provide schoolteachers with a curriculum that focuses on social-emotional learning, core values, character-building, mindfulness through yoga and meditation, and social and environmental issues. We aim to empower children as global leaders of the next generation - promoting justice, peace, and freedom. Aliza Silver, Executive Director of the LOVE ACTIVISTS
Through our donations and artistic collaboration with LOVE ACTIVISTS, MTW seeks to support these inner city youth through in-person mentoring, offering online dance training and choreography and performance collaboration for their videos and live events.
